When the new 'pintie' style bottle appeared in the early 1980's it was initially stipulated that they could only carry advertisements for milk related products. This was gradually expanded to include items like newspapers and radio. The supposed connection being that they were all found on the breakfast table. Eventually virtually anything was permitted and you could even get 'Your own computerised horoscope for only £1.50'.

Does anybody know where Will Tudor is now? And is he still doing a breakfast show? His station, Beacon Radio, was closed down in 1997. A 're-launch (which ended the careers of some of the presenters) was met with street protests, letters to newspapers and vandalism to the (station's) building.' Read the whole sorry tale here.
