At its Annual
General Meeting on 8th February Members were reminded that
during the past twelve months they had enjoyed outings to
Rutland Water and Poddington Garden Centre, lunch at the gold
club and a shopping trip. A five-day holiday in Llandudno
was the highlight.
Various
special teas were arranged during the year, together with
monthly bingo sessions. Other activities included a speaker
from Walkers, flower arranging and members being shown how
to decorate T-shirts to their own designs.
A belated thanks was given to everyone who supported our Christmas
bingo evening; the money raised helped us to enjoy Christmas
lunch at The Coach and Horses.
