GERMANY ..... the FIRST trial in history for "crimes against the peace of the world" began when the Nuremberg trials were held in the city which had seen many of Hitler's spectacular rallies. Among the Nazis to be tried for crimes against humanity were Goering, Hess, Ribbentrop, Keitel, Doenitz and slave labour overlord, Sauckel 1964 ..... U.K ..... the FIRST episode of Crossroads was televised and Jane Rossington who played Jill Chance answered the phone with the words “ Crossroads Motel, can I help you?”
