C
ommunity
can be simply described as a group of people who share. In the process of sharing, relationships are formed. This process leads to the development of each of the individuals.
A distributed community across many time zones and continents experiences the difficulty that the members cannot share the same space, or even the same time! However they can share in a common sense of praying together.
The internet can facilitate communication which allows sharing on a near global scale. The primary mechanism, at least to start of with, will be by email. Other means may follow soon. However, can this form of community ever reach the same levels as a concentrated community?
If you wish to participate in this exciting adventure, please send me an
email
. There are no obligations, and you may pull out at any time. Your email address will NEVER be passed on without your consent. This is about community, not commercialism! I would like to have a seperate web page which lists the peoples names and countries, so that we can all know who else is in the community.
As part of the community, you will be sent emails from me with prayer requests from others within the community, and from the requests put in from these pages. To start with, I am NOT running an automatic list server, but rather collating requests. Therefore you should not normally receive more than one email a day.
