Taken from 'Truth from the White Brotherhood'" Very often we find that one lifetime is insufficient and I know that although many cannot accept
the doctrine of reincarnation, to me it is an absolute fact because I have experienced it. I know that you come again and again. Realise that evolution is a very long process. You cannot attain the fullest extent of
your unfoldment in one earthly lifetime. You must come again and again through successive forms, each time weaving a new pattern, each time weaving into the fabric of your being with the various threads of life the
tapestry that is the real you. Try to understand that you come through many forms. You have come through the lowest of the low until you have been able to express yourself through the human vehicle. You have come
through every form and through every species. Not you as the individual, but you as mind. Mind must come through every species. Through the insect, through the fish, through the bird, through the tree, through the
flower, through all the animals of the field until it reaches man. Man is also an animal form, a species. This you must understand. But in man, mind has the ability to individualise, to attain an individual expression."
