Who is Maria Dixon?
Maria Dixon is a shipping professional with over eighteen years' experience in the field. She is 41 years old, British, but originally her family comes from Spain and Venezuela. In 1980 she was appointed to the Shipping Department of the Consulate of Panama in London. Since then, she worked her way up to the maximum rank of a non-diplomatic civil servant could obtain, Head of Shipping in one of the most successful Consulates the Republic of Panama had abroad. Maria Dixon left her job at the Consulate on March 31st, 1998. On June 2nd, 1998 she became a director of the British company called ISM Shipping Solutions Ltd.

Maria’s presence made her a figure that gave continuity to the registry she worked for.
