The Church is committed to supporting all aspects of "World Mission" which may be undertaken by the Methodist Church, including the alleviation of poverty and the promotion of social justice as well as the spreading of the Gospel. The support is mainly through prayer and finance and to help awareness in the congregation, various publications are available. At least one Sunday in each year is set aside to hear about mission activities from a minister or lay worker who has been involved with overseas churches. Specific areas of support are

• Regular weekly collections of money by some of the young people in the Church through the Junior Missionary Association. These funds are used both at home and overseas by Methodist Central Office.
   
• Sponsorship assistance for one of the Church members working on literacy projects in Mali.
   
• Special collections and organised events to raise funds.
