19/9/92 bought shell donor 1500 auto 20/9/92 started to strip, lights, trim etc. 26/9/92 propshaft and dashboard 27/9/92 interior 3/10/92 doors, screens, heater, wipers 4/10/92 began cleaning up shell, in engine bay 17/10/92 engine and gearbox removed 18/10/92 wiring loom removed and last bits from bulkhead 24/10/92 cleaning engine bay, thick underseal 25/10/92 cleaning engine bay 7/11/92 cut out rusty RH sill, inner perfect 8/11/92 work on sill 14/11/92 welded on new RH sill 15/11/92 removed sill, put it back right this time 21/11/92 finished sill, removed RH front wing (rusty over headlights) 22/11/92 removed LH front wing, fitted pair glass ones (for lightness) 28/11/92 patched small holes in rear wheel arches 29/11/92 removed sub frame, cleaned inner wings 5/12/92 cleaned inner front wheel arches 12/12/92 cleaning inner front wheel arches, treat with jenolite 13/12/92 primed inner front wheel arches, start cleaning rears 19/12/92 hammerite inner front wings, cleaning rears 20/12/92 hammerite rear arches, remove axle and exhaust 28/12/92 Start swap of 1500 auto mechanicals to Sprint shell. 1500 shell placed on trailer and removed to garden .Remove sprint engine, sub frame and axle, fit 1500 sub frame and axle 29/12/92 removed sprint dash, loom, pedals etc.. Fit 1500 loom 30/12/92 Fit 1500 dash, pedals, brakes, connect up loom 31/12/92 Fit 1500 engine and auto box, prop shaft, exhaust etc. 1/1/93 connect remaining electric's, battery and bonnet, forget about auto inhibitor switch .Drive Sprint shell as 1500 auto. Put 1500 shell back in garage. At swap Sprint = 137466 miles 1500 = 58854
