wooden models are arranged in 7 scenes with back-up accessories
showing women at work in village co-operatives, at market, and in
the religious organisations. The average scene requires a space
of about 2.5 X 2.5 metres. 51 related textiles are provided for
hanging on dowels. Also included are 12 illustrated boards with
general information on the Maya Indians of Guatemala (approx. 61
x 92cm). The tableaux and textiles are accompanied by explanations
and 14 framed photographs.
