My aim in forming this Centre is to offer space to a small group of artists who need to work for inner reasons.

There is no competition between the artists here. Our purpose is to separately make things which work on their own terms and speak for themselves. Much of the work is for sale: there is the ever-present need for a market place.

Traditional galleries can only show an artist`s work for a limited time to a relatively small number of people. Also, because of the overheads, gallery fees can amount to as much as 50% of the purchase price, resulting in lower profits for the artist and putting the price of the pictures beyond the means of many who would otherwise buy. An advantage of viewing pictures online is that there are no overheads involved: you are dealing directly with the artist in every case, and I think you will find our prices surprising.

You can obtain as much information as you like about any picture from the artist personally.

All prices on the paintings exhibited are for the work unframed, which can be posted in mailing-tubes or flat-packed as appropriate. We have a framing department in Reception, where our own distinctive frames can be made to order at low cost.

To get closer to any picture on view, right-click on the image and select "Save picture as…" to put it in your files. Thereafter use Photo Shop (or whatever application you use) to zoom in as far as resolution will let you.

Discuss exhibits with us through the email facility on our Reception page, question a particular artist, or leave your comments in our guestbook. There are many things to look at here, and the site will be continually updated. Any item marked "Sold" (by the traditional red spot) will be replaced with new work as soon as possible.
