Amazing!!

It begins in a remote region of the Middle East.  Over a period of two years, people across the whole area reported seeing unusual cosmic phenomena.
 
Astronomers tracked an unidentified object that crossed the sky from east to west, pausing erratically, but always moving towards one particular village.  There its voyage came to an end, as it hovered high in the sky above the village.
 
More was to come.  One night, local people living around the village reported seeing thousands of glowing entities in the night sky, and hearing strange unearthly music.
 
That night, a peasant woman in the village gave birth to a baby son.  Nothing strange about that except that this was a woman who had never had sex.  The baby looked like any other human baby but everybody knew there was something uncanny about this child.

It took thirty years for people to begin to understand what was going on that night.  The mysterious baby grew up.  And when he was thirty years old he began to manifest strange powers.  He seemed to draw power from some invisible Force. With the help of this Force he was able to do things that left the scientists of the day baffled.  Power emanated from his hands.  Hundreds of people came to him with all sorts of illnesses.  He only had to touch them and they were healed instantly.  He had a mysterious power over nature itself.  On more than one occasion he stopped a raging storm. Once he brought  a funeral procession to a halt and  touched the corpse - who promptly got up strong and well.  Thousands of people saw him do these things.  The four books record many eyewitness statements.

Many people asked this mysterious figure the secret of his power.  His answer was always the same.  He told them that he had come from another world, that he remained in contact with that world, and that he was channeling power from that world.  Not everybody believed him.  But nobody could deny that his power was real.

Many people supported him fanatically.  They were ready to worship him.  But others were terrified by him.  They were sure he was going to try to take over the world.
