Muse shows you five line "staffs" to write music on.
At the bottom of the screen there are the symbols you need.
Click on the symbol and the mouse pointer turns into that symbol.
Click on the staff to drop the symbol into place.

Get the computer to play back what you have written.
(Find "Play" in the "Actions" menu or type the shortcut "P").
Eliminate proof reading, start proof listening!

Muse does the donkey work for you.
Muse automagically inserts bar lines, spills the music
onto new lines keeping bars together (like a word processor spills words)
and inserts a clef and key signature at the start of each line.

You can play with it for as long as you want, but there are
initially restrictions on saving, playing or printing long files.
Whenever you want you can start a 30 day free trial with no restrictions.
