Details
- Engine: 2.0 Pinto, 2 x Web 45's, F32 Fast Road Cam, Rear Axle: Capri, Timken Axle, 2" machined spacers,
- Chassis: Wide Body (very wide 6 Feet tyre to tyre on back), Stove enamelled,
- Wheels: OZ Racing 5 Spoke,
- Brakes: Front, 2.8i vented front discs, drums on back, brake bias control fitted,
- Seats: 2 x Cobra full size rally seats with 4 Point Harness,
- Suspension: New SPAX Coil over shocks all round (200lb & 220lb. Trailing arms on rear all rose jointed and adjustable Pannard rod rose jointed and adjustable.
I took the car up to Donnington Kit car show last month and completed 21 laps of the circuit. No real problems and drove it home again.
This was a really good project and I am now enjoying driving everywhere, the performance is fantastic, "ask the escort cosworth driver who moved out the way on the dual carriageway today"
I have had to overcome quite a few problems with the width and the engine layout, I would be happy to share this information if anyone needs it.
