Welcome.  Feel free to browse.  We are proud of our photography.  We do it for the pleasure it gives us and we invite you to enjoy it with us.

We have now come to the end of our 2008/9 season of weekly meetings and all our internal competitions are finished.  Those winning trophies for both 2007/8 and 2008/9 can be seen by visiting our Club News page and then clicking on the “Merit Awards” link.

During the summer we have a programme of walks.  Full details are on the Programme page.  The first of our weekly meeting in the 2009/10 season will be on Wednesday 2nd September

The Gallery page which contains 37 thumbnail images contributed by 13 of our members has had a major update with 24 changes.  The images cover a wide range of topics and styles.  Each can be enlarged for your greater enjoyment and you may then cycle through them all, as a slide show.  Please note that copyright of all images belongs to the authors.

Pre-Visions 2009 will be on Sunday 29th November.  The Pre-Visions page has full details with a link to club scores and individual awards for the 2008 event and another link to the cccomp website where thumbnails of all that competition’s projected images can be viewed.

Our 2008/9 season inter-club results were good.  We won through to represent the CACC in both slide and print national finals, but finished well down the rankings.  We won the eight-way print competition at St Albans.  In the Northwest London Federation we won through to the final, but were beaten by Amersham.  In the CACC championships we were 5th in the print and 6th in the projected image but an individual member won a judge’s award in the prints and another was awarded a PAGB bronze medal in the Strictly Digital competition.  We did however excel in winning the prestigious CACC Rosebowl.  The winning set of images are in the Gallery, with links from Club News.

Our recent print exhibition in the Pavilion Gallery at Chenies Manor ran from the 1st to 30th April and was a great success with hundreds of visitors, generating a lot of interest in the club.

The Club News page covers items of particular interest to members.  It has numerous links including  Competition Entry Requirements,  Comp Entry forms for members to print off and Preparing Digital Images for Projection (for step by step instructions) and also a link to the cccomp site for individual member’s current digitally projected image scores and league positions.
