The Explorer Club meets between 6pm and 7pm every Thursday during the school term. It is a club for junior aged children (Year 3 to Year 6 in school) and is open to everyone, although the numbers have to be limited to 30 children at a time.
The sessions are always good fun. Activities include craft, games and sometimes cooking. The session ends with a short Bible story or quiz.
During the evening the children can earn points for winning games, good behaviour, answering questions, etc. and the points are collected for the term. At the end of term they are counted and the winners receive prizes. There are also overall winners at the end of each year.
The children pay 30p per week to attend, but the first week is free!
When children become too old for Explorer Club, they are invited to join the Church Club instead.
