Computer animation is an ideal medium to convey the visual drama of Song, and in particular the cosmic themes of the Gita.It is intended to produce the film in collaboration with a range of artists and institutions, in the UK and India. It is a research project connected to the Master’s programme in Computer Art and Animation at London Guildhall University. The project is in its early stages and before the final production can be undertaken further research and consultation is required, specifically amongst the Hindu community and at the Imperial War Museum. Although the story is tightly constructed, there is much scope for different visual treatments and additional material.
