The Shackleton - Some personal memories

This is still my favourite Shack photo showing the last steam train crossing the runway at Ballykelly in 1969. The train was full of railway enthusiasts and 210 Sqn Crew 3 (Captain Chick P) are in the SAR standby aircraft (I'm in the nose lookout position). It was said that Ballykelly had the only runway in the world where a sheep was run over by a train. Trains had priority over aircraft of course.
