General Photos taken at 80th entry reunions in 1995

Left to right: Alan Jones, John Matthews, Tony Gallagher, Jim Blackhurst, Nev Feist, Bryan Soppitt,
Gus Smart, Monty Firmin, Jim Grieve.

A general mingling outside workshops before the march up the hill.

This looks serious. I don't know what Gordon Eadon is saying to Graham Walker, but Joan Eadon looks apprehensive and Bryan Soppitt is enjoying it.
From the left: Bryan
Soppitt, Tony Gallagher and Graham Walker taking a liquid lunch. Boy were the lunch queues long and slow.

A great photo taken by Alan (Huntz) Hall during one of the 30mm Aden gun lectures.
From the left at back: Geoff Lidbetter, Jim Grieve, Ted Lilley (dozing?), me, and * Lake (?)
At the front: Goff Haywood, Mike Meager and Nobby Hobbs.

A good view of the airframe workshop provided by Bill Pardoe, with the 91st Entry (I think) being taught about the dangers of armed ejection seats. When I was posted to Odiham, a plumber friend of mine was in a Hunter cockpit (with very little spare space) arming the seat when it went off and disappeared upwards out of the cockpit somehow without touching him. Hardly surprising though, he was never the same again.
