A USN sailor in his neatly pressed dress blues arrives home on weekend leave to find the main shower is not working. He finds and sets up the old bath tap shower nozzle and decides he ought to test it.....in full uniform of course!!

After a terrible day I arrived home really wound up and stripped off for a soothing shower....only to find when I switched it on the fuse went and it would not work........feeling even worse I decided that I had better unwind properly..............so I ran a hot bath instead.Then I pulled on black socks, white tee, white boxers and black shoes. I opened the wardrobe and the first thing I saw was my USN sailors summer whites that I had pressed the night before. I eased the top over my head, then pulled on the white flared pants and after zipping pulled on the white canvas belt. I pulled the top down properly and then eased the rolled neckerchief under the collar and tied it at the front. Finally I pulled on the pork pie cap with it officially over my eyebrows as I could not wear it 'flat back' until I had relaxed. Feeling better I poured a large scotch and went back to the now filled bathtub and........r-e-l-a-x-e-d.............I was soon able to push the cap flat back!!!!!!

Deciding to update my uniforms I bought through Ebay a set of Patrol equipment of webbing belt, spats and gloves. When they arrived I could not wait to see how they looked.They clashed a bit with the neatly cleaned and pressed white uniform being rather grubby. What else could I do before going 'On Parade' but get them clean??????

I also bought through Ebay a great set of WWII dress blues. When they arrived I HAD to try them on to see if they fitted.They fitted like a glove. I rang a mate to tell him and he suggested that as they were 'new' they needed a wash. So washed they were.... whilst I was still on the phone !!!

A CHPS guy arrives home and decides to have a bath. After posing for a couple of pix with the bath full he decides that he cannot wait....so takes a bath in full uniform complete with his belt and nightstick!!

On a visit to the local uniform store decided to 'join the Army' and purchased the appropriate cammo pants, shirt, boots, etc. Getting home I tried it all on to make sure it fitted....which it did and as I always wash kit before its first wear out did no more than expected..........why waste time taking it all off?.....

I decided some decoration work needed doing in the bathroom. So appropriately dressed in whit T, tight white bib dungarees etc in I went to start.... chaged my mind and thought NO I'll take a bath instead..... far mor pleasant !!!!
