1805 Oct 17 AOC Royal Marine records. 39 Co. Plymouth 2nd Lt.

1810 Aug 11 AOC letter from Maj. Gen Richard BRIGHT regarding improper conduct of AOC "lately employed on the Island of Anholt"

Ordered by John BARROW of Admiralty to rejoin "Belleraphon " off the Scheldt after return to Plymouth HQ.

FAC asked for leave from Gen BRIGHT & 2 months was granted. Applied for further 2 months leave but refused. Unable to rejoin "Bellaraphon" because of ill health. To be court martialled as soon as health allowed.

1811 Feb 14 AOC 2nd Lt. Court Martial, found guilty & dismissed the Service. Restored to rank by personal order of the Prince Regent.

1813 Oct 20 AOC 12 Co. Plymouth, 1st Lt. 73 Co. Chatham 20 Oct 1813.

1826 AOC subscribed to Rev James Carrington's book, published posthumously.

1829 AOC Governor of Fernando Po, an island off E. Africa, where he died.

Had thanks from Parliament for his bravery.
