1819 After death of father became ward of John Wilson

Hely Hutchinson, 1st Earl Donoughmore. 1820 Probably lived with John Wilson Croker in quarters at Admiralty 1821 Went to S Africa with newlywed sister Catherine = William Pennell. Met with William's cousin Lovell Pennell son of Lovell, and they later married, 1826 Married most probably at Simonstown, S Africa.. 1833 Came to England to claim inheritance staying with William & Catherine at Portsmouth. Mother's executor had died from cholera and being heavily in debt to the Crown, the Croker's money was seized with his to pay debts. 1835 Memorial letter to Treasury re inheritance, not replied to 1839. 1834/5 Returned to Mauritius until 1843. Came to Gosport near sister Catherine who had brought up Margaret's children for 5 yrs 1848 Family went to Montreal, Canada 1849 Family went to Jamaica, West Indies.. 1851 MP died there and was buried at Halfway Tree, Kingston, Jamaica. She was said to be gay & amusing, encouraging the giving of balls in Mauritius for the Officers whenever possible.
