Tombstone in Woodborough church yard inscribed
"Here lies a man whose fair and upright ways justly entitled him
to warmest praise, As friend and father, few did him excel, With
grief alas! we hear the solemn knell, we saw the sad procession
moving slow, and all seemed struck with universal woe, but why
repine? this debt we all must pay, when god commands all mortals
must obey. Reflect on his long afflicted case, then bless the
day a happy change took place".
