By 1730s Follett & Jackson represented merchant firms that
traded from Topsham and were established at Trepassy. Joined by
(Lovell & other) Pennells 1750-1760s. Thrived until demise of
fishing bank in 1790s. By end of Napoleonic Wars connections

tons, 6 carriage guns & 10 swivel guns, 70 men. Victualled in
