Lady Harriet GIFFARD is remembered as always dressing in silk, had ringlets and gave herself airs. Not liked by poorer relations. Settled in Lyme Regis on return from Columbo, her brother Richard,being curate there. She lived a lot with her son at Weybridge, staying with Edward at Hampton, but died at George's house The Cedars, Sunbury. 1841 Census1841 Census Dame Harriet Giffard aged 50, of Park Cottage East Molesey .
