Minutes of the last meeting
The minutes of the Spring meeting, held on 11th February 2003, were approved as a true record and signed by the Chairman.
Matters Arising
Mike Donnelly has sent a Contacts List to Cobham who may arrange some friendlies this year.
Mike Donnelly to contact Mike Paterson of Sevenoaks Vine re. the representative game in their cricket week.
Section 18.1 in the Constitution has been reworded.
Awards for All
Mike Donnelly was pleased to announce that the League's bid had been successful and £5,000 was paid into the League's bank account on 21st March 2003.
It was agreed that the committee should deal with the free allocation of helmets and balls immediately, followed by the Umpires/Scorers courses which Peter Wooderson agreed to arrange.

The Open Day will need careful thought and it was agreed that this should ideally take place during the school holidays. Advice on the format is needed and Mike Donnelly will make contact with the KCB for ideas and hopefully assistance.
The allocation of helmets and balls was fully discussed and it was agreed that Clubs with U15/16 teams only would receive twelve 5½ oz. balls and those with U11/13 teams would receive twelve 4¾ oz. balls.
A research on prices had been carried out by Mike Donnelly and the best deal appeared to be John Copus' offer of balls at £5 for 5½ oz. and £4 for 4¾ oz. Mike Donnelly to order 312 x 4¾ oz. balls (26 clubs x 12) and 60 x 5½ oz. balls (5 clubs x 12).

The most competitive price for helmets was obtained by John Monk - £27.50 for C.D. brand helmets.
John Monk to order 62 helmets to suit 26 U11/13 teams and 5 U15/16 teams.

Registration System
John Monk welcomed Graham Freedman to the Committee as Registrations Secretary.
In the near future, Steve Nash will send out this season's score sheets to clubs, together with registration details. Clubs will be requested to send their registrations to Graham.
During the season, score sheets will initially be returned to Steve who will pass them to Graham to check the registrations.
Coloured Clothing
Sevenoaks Vine - Black shirt not approved.
Bexleyheath - Royal Blue approved.
Holmesdale - Dark Blue not approved, but yellow alternative is fine. Mike Donnelly to advise Matt Topliss.
KCB Youth Committee Meeting
Peter Wooderson reported on the meeting. Steve Nash asked Peter to send him amended dates of Under 14 District games.

Finance
Peter Wooderson presented a statement of subscriptions so far received. This revealed just four outstanding. It was agreed that Mike Donnelly would remind clubs of this in his letter re. Awards for All grant.
Including the £5,000 from Awards for All, the current balance is £6,886.34
Fixtures
It was agreed that the seedings and draws for the ECB Under 13 and Portman Under 15 National Cup Competitions would be carried out by Steve Nash.
Any other business
Peter Wooderson advised that there was some doubt about who would arrange the County, U13 and U15 play-offs this season.
