THE GOLDEN IDOL 

  This is a reproduction of an Aztec Idol like the one seen  in the film Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981).It has been cast in Cold Bronze, plated in 18-carat Gold, and hallmarked. It is 5 inches in diameter, and stands approximately 8 inches high. The Aztecs worshipped the Goddess as a fertility symbol.

 

 

THE STAFF OF RA HEADPIECE

 

This is a faithful reproduction of the original seen in the film Raiders of the lost Ark (1981). It has been cast in Cold Bronze, plated in 18-carat Gold and given an antique finish. It is completed with a transparent Amber Jewel. The piece is 3 ¼ inches in diameter.This relic is a fictional example of similar ones recorded in Egyptian history. In ancient Egyptian Cosmology Ra was the Sun God, identified with dawn and rebirth.

 

 

THE ARK OF THE COVENANT

 

This is a replica like the original seen in the film Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). The Model has been cast in metal and plated in 24-carat Gold. The scale of this piece is 1:20 of the original. The Ark contained the Tablets of the Law (i.e. the Ten Commandments) given to Moses on Mount Sinai, and Aaron’s rod that budded. Two guardian Angels face one another on the cover.

 

THE HOLY GRAIL CHALICE

 

This piece like the one seen in the film The Last Crusade (1989). The piece is cast from a terracotta-coloured resin, Gold-leafed and lacquered. It stands just under 6 ¼ inches high, and 5 inches in diameter. This was the simple clay cup featured in the film, and which represented the cup used at the Last Supper.

 

 

THE KING’S DRAGON 

 

This replica is a reproduction of the original used in the BBC Schools’ Programme ‘Look and Read’ serial, The King’s Dragon (1977). The arm-ring is cast in Cold Bronze authentically plated in 18-carat Gold, and hallmarked; the eye is finished in ruby-red enamel. This artifact is 5 ¾ inches in diameter, and stands just under 5 inches high. It is a putative arm-ring believed to be the provenance of the kings of Wessex, the last of whom was King Harold who died in the Battle of Hastings (1066). The Dragon depicted on a banner in the world-famous Bayeux Tapestry was the inspiration for this piece.

 

ONE RING

 

This is an authentic reproduction of the original, which was seen in the film The Lord of the Rings. The Ring is plated in a gold finish and is size H/6.5 (like the original). The inscription on the replica says:

One Ring to rule them all,

 One Ring to find them,

One Ring to bring them all,

 And in the darkness bind them.

Engraved in Elven Script on both sides, it is an actual promotional ring licensed by New Lines Cinema as official Lord of the Rings merchandise.
