Development Officer

I am Jackie Claydon and I joined North Wales
Deaf Association in February 1995.  I work full -time, teaching deaf awareness and lip-reading. I give equipment demonstrations at the NWDA offices and at other places when asked.

Development Officer - Community Interpreting

I am Ffranses Wharton and I joined the Association in July, 2001 as a full-time Community Interpreter.   My role is to accompany Deaf people to various appointments and translate English into BSL and BSL into English


Education Officer

My name is Angela McDonagh and I am the Education  Officer for NWDA.  I started work here in February 1999 and I work full-time covering the whole of North Wales.  My role is to visit schools where deaf children are Mainstream educated and offer deaf awareness training for teachers and basic sign language for the hearing children and friends of the deaf child. 

Copy Typist

I am Alistair Coulson and I have worked at NWDA as a copy typist since I left Doncaster College for the Deaf in July, 1997.  I work at NWDA on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
