For both residential groups and day visitors, Carlton Lodge is able to offer a wide range of activity programmes, using the Centre's own twelve acres of lakes, fields and woodland, and the venues in the surrounding area.  A choice of up to seventeen different activities mean that your programme can be tailored to your specific requirements. *

Inclusive Activity Courses -
an ideal set programme for busy leaders and teachers
Ultimate 'Three Day' and 'Five Day' courses are available offering a fully integrated programme of activities running
through the day and into the evenings.
Courses, although operating to a set timetable, are tailored to individual group requirements using both the Centre and surrounding area. All instruction, equipment, accommodation, catering
and transport are included.

Minimum fee charged at equivalent of 12 people   
One free place for every 12 places booked

Action Pack
A full day of activities at the Centre with all instruction and equipment included. Action Packs are available to groups of between 8 and 60 people. It is an ideal way to gain a first experience of outdoor activities with instructors working with tutor groups of no more than 12 participants

The day usually includes four different sessions in a programme individually designed for each group. Working at the Centre ensures that no time is lost travelling between venues and means you get a full day of activity!
Options:
Abseilling, Canoeing, Raft Building, Archery, Climbing Wall, Initiative Tasks, Rope Bridge, Orienteering, Confidence Course.

Action Pack Plus
A further range of exciting activities are available to groups who venture away from the Centre to venues in the surrounding area. Many of these are completely different, while others offer an opportunity to develop skills learnt in introductory sessions at the Centre.

The programme is based around tutor groups of no more than 12, and two activities can be undertaken in a day.

Options:
Climbing & Abseilling, Bouldering, Canoeing, Mountain Biking, Hill-walking, Gorge Walking, & Abseilling,
Orienteering, Caving and White-Water Rafting.

Hourly Instruction
If you prefer not to take a full days programme then our on-site activities are available on an hourly basis, with an minimum group size of 8 participants.
