I bought this set at a BVWS auction at Harpenden. I liked the angular shape of the cabinet and knobs. It is a 3 valve plus rectifier TRF set. The valves are MVS/Pen, MS/Pen, PT41 and 442BU all by Cossor. The set is for operation on A.C. mains only and has provision for a gram input and an external speaker.
The chassis is pretty rusty and is still awaiting restoration, the veneered cabinet was pretty scratched but after stripping off the varnish and refinishing with french polish, it came up very well. See the above photo. I managed to get hold of the 'Trader' servicing sheet for the set again from Harpenden.
