Sweden, Thailand and the USA.
Customer reviews of Peters courses frequently remark on the

helpfulness in getting that knowledge across.
A cost effective way for customers to gain the required skills is to

the customers computer systems,

Information Management (Info/Man)

At Grattan plc where he worked with
dependent validation lists and wrote SLA reports. At SingTel
he assisted with upgrading Info/Man and gaining Y2K compliance.
For Lloyds Bank he wrote a new problem management information
gathering process.
At BT Peter designed and implemented a problem and change
management process using Info/Man, IBM's database tool for
problem, change and configuration automation. He customised
Info/Man to BTs requirements and, in the first six months,
system down time was reduced by 70 per cent.
For Thames Water Peter created a tailored Info/Man course and
trained 200 staff in 22 classes on their premises. many
trainees had no IBM background and some had never used a
computer. The project manager co-ordinating training stated
"attendees remarked on Peter's grasp of the subject and his
ability to convey complex concepts."
Southern Electric invited Peter to advise them on Info/Man
training. He gained the customers commitment to invest £30K
in a training programme of 3 courses and 31 classes.
Participants consistently commented on the comprehensive
notes, the professionalism of the instructor, and benefit of
the course in performing their job.
Peter recognised the need for IBM to focus more on end user
training and developed a popular one day course showing how
to use Info/Man more effectively. Responding to customers
asking how to build Info/Man reports Peter created a 3 day
course which covers almost everything about reporting. Peter
grew the Info/Man curriculum from one 5 day course to four
courses totalling thirteen days, profiting IBM and satisfying
customers.

companies to teach classes on their sites in Britain, Europe
and the middle east.
Peter designed and wrote OPC courses which were
taught by IBM throughout the world. He now has his own up-to-date course material, and continues to teach classes for IBM.
Recently Peter was asked by a major Irish bank to audit its use of OPC after a scheduling problem seriously impacted work. He was quickly able to identify and correct the cause of the problem and produced a report pointing to a number of ways to improve usage.
