Dolphins Top in League
Last month saw Pocklington Dolphins coming top in the third division of the Ridings League. Congratulations to all who swam in the Ridings League this season.
Last Saturday a group of swimmers travelled to Beverley to compete in the Ridings League Championships.
Star of the afternoon was Luke Huffington who came 2nd in the 13 year & under 50M Breaststroke in a time of 38.65 seconds. He also won two further medals, coming 4th in the 50M Butterfly in a time of 38.95 and 5th in the 200M Individual Medley in a time of 1.25.00.
Other swimmers winning medals were Andy Redmore coming 4th in the 10 year & under Backstroke in 41.71 seconds, Ryan Rudd, 5th in the 10 year & under Butterfly in 43.13 and Charlotte Palmer, 6th in the 11 year & under Breaststroke in 46.10.
To end the afternoon Megan Burrow broke the 9 Years & Under Breaststroke Club record in a time of 53.19 seconds.
Well done to other swimmers who took part, Gemma Burrow, Heather Curnow, Phillip Kendra, Julia Laws, Demi Lidster, Michael Smith and Abigail Smith.
