Born to Irish
parents,
Caroline started her musical career as
an 8 year old playing
piano
accordian in a
family band to Irish
audiences in her hometown of
Oxford. She taught
herself to
play the guitar and wrote her
first song
at the age of 11. Since then,
she has
performed on
the London
music
circuit as a singer/songwriter and guitarist - both solo
and in a duo
with singer Beverly Baxter - for a number of years.

As a semi-pro
she secured a support slot on David
Essex
national tour, playing
solo in major
venues throughout
the
country. She has also played
at the famous 12 Bar
Club in Central
London and headlined on
numerous
occasions at the Mean Fiddler Acoustic Room,
performing
both
solo and with her four-piece backing
band. She has also performed
live on BBC local radio
as well as at the Suffolk
‘n’
Good Festival. A
prolific
songwriter whose influences include
Shawn Colvin and
Mary Chapin-
Carpenter, she
has recorded and
perfomed
her material in Nashville and was recently featured on a
country music compilation. |
