World Showcase

Canada

There is only one main attraction at this pavilion, it is a 360 degree film called O Canada showing the things that Canada has to offer. There is usually a big crowd at the door but most of the time everybody gets in. There is also the Victoria Gardens which is based on the Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island. For entertainment there is the off kilter, a high energy progressive music show and there is a restaurant here called Le Cellier Steakhouse offering traditional Canadian food. Booking in advance is recommended.

United Kingdom

This pavilion offers you shopping, drinking and street entertainment. The shops here include The Lords and Ladies, The Tea Caddy, The Magic of Wales, The Queens Table and The Toy Soldier. For eating and drinking there is The Rose and Crown, a traditional British Pub or the Rose and Crown Dining Room. And for entertainment there is usually music or street theatre. Lastly there is a herb garden and maze.

France

Bonjour and welcome to France. You can immediately tell you are in France by the Eiffel Tower in the distance (we didn't see that coming). There is only one attraction on offer here Impressions de France. It is a big screen film about the culture of the country with a classical music accompaniment. Restaurants here are Les Chefs de France and  Boulangerie Patisserie.

Morocco

This part of World Showcase was built with materials specially imported from Morocco to keep it looking authentic. Attractions featured here are the Gallery of Arts and History, Treasures of Morocco and the Houzali Troupe. Treasures of Morocco is a walking guided tour through the streets and gardens of Morocco. Lastly the Houzali Troupe is a stunt show with acrobats and lots more performed in the Moroccan Courtyard. Food here is in the Restaurant Marrakesh.

Japan

Attractions and features here are the Bijutsu-kan Gallery, a gallery of Japanese art and artifacts, Miyuki, a woman who creates works of art from candy and Matsuriza, a show featuring Japanese drummers. The eating options here are the Matsu No Ma Lounge (with a view of World Showcase Lagoon) , Tempura Kiku, a restaurant where you watch the chefs prepare your meal, Teppanyaki Dining Room and Yakitori House.

America

The centerpiece of World Showcase is called The American Adventure. It features a show that features film and audio-animatronics show which is suitably named The American Adventure Show. It is the story of the history and pride of America. Also in America is the colonial fife and drum band and the America Gardens Theatre which currently shows Michal Flatly's  Lord of the Dance. The food there is mostly fast-food and there are carts outside the building which sell souvenirs.

Italy

This section of World Showcase recreates St Mark's Square in Venice. There are not any attractions (only street artists singers and human statues here) but there is some great shopping and eating. Shopping can be found in an open air market and you can eat at L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante which includes singing waiters.

Germany

Like Italy, this section does not have any attractions only a group of musicians called the Alpine Trio. Germany offers two restaurants Biergarten, which is a restaurant which offers traditional German food and Sommerfest, a fast food restaurant.

China 

China has a couple of attractions. A 360 degree film Land of Many Faces which shows scenes from China. This is viewed from the Temple of Heaven. Another attraction is Land of Many Faces which is an exhibit showing Chinese people and culture. There are two restaurants here. Nine Dragons and Lotus Blossom Cafe, a fast food restaurant.

Norway

This is one of the few countries in World Showcase which actually has a ride. It is called the Maelstrom and it is a dark boat journey avoiding trolls and includes a short waterfall. There is also the Stave Church which is a building based on Gol Church in Hallingdal. The two eating opportunities here are at Restaurant Askershus and Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe.

Mexico

This is the second country which has a ride, it is El Rio Del Tempo which takes you through a brief history of Mexico. There is also an exhibition of Mexican artifacts called Reign of Glory, there are also performers outside the pavilion. Here you can eat at the San Angel Inn and Cantina de San Angel.
