Alishan means 'grand'. The design shows large and prominent motifs. This bold pattern lends itself to our 20:20 weave and can be woven in a number of different colour ways. It is woven in 45 count multi-coloured Indian hand spun wool which produces a unique variation in the ground colour. The ends are finished with a short kelim incorporating the colours of the Indian flag. The carpet has been given a light antique wash. |
