City Synergy along with East Sussex Association for the Blind (ESAB) and the local Eye Care Liaison Officer run a course called EyeT4all at Blatchington Court Trust on May 2nd 2008
The course was attended by 11 people from the different organisations and it was good to work together in this way
EyeT4All is run by the British Computer Association for the Blind especially for people who have little or no experience of computers and uses an application called "Guide"
The day started at 10.30 with an introduction to what computers can do and during the day those attending had a chance to try out writing letters and e-mails, to see how the computer could be used with a scanner to read books, magazines, letters, bills etc. to search for information on the Internet and to use facilities like Listen Again and Internet Radio
It was an enjoyable day and hopefully everyone gained something out of it.
