Other sources of funds

In 2003, we raised £500 through a sponsored tenpin bowling, we received valuable support from teachers and other staff at West Blatchington Primary School

In 2004, we did a joint fundraising Swimarathon with the rottingdean and Saltdean Lions Club raising £460 which was shared between ourselves and the Lions Club

We have received gifts in 2003 and 2004 from St George's church, Kemp Town as part of their giving to groups in the community

We have also received a donation from a film company, making a film called "The Penalty King" for whom we are the official charity, The storyline is about a footballer who loses his sight but with the help of an imaginative work colleague and inspired by memories of his favourite football team starts to play again.

The cast of the film includes:
CLARE GROGAN (Father Ted, Gregory’s Girl)
NICK BARTLETT (Gangs of New York)
JANE PEACHEY (Inbetweeners and Dream Team)
