A Cherry bed and a painted MDF wardrobe fitted
wall to wall.
This bed was made predominantly from solid cherry, with some
veneered plywood used on the head and tail board. I made it for myself in 1993, having
spent too many years making do with a couple of pallets and a mattress slung on top.
A fitted wardrobe made from MDF and spray painted yellow
with an elm surface. The bark was left on to contrast with the crisp lines of the cabinets
below. All the drawers were fitted onto full extension runners. The bottom two housing
removable linen bags as a way of getting around having a basket for dirty clothes.
