Wardrobe made from American yellow pine and a
wardrobe fitted into an angled roof space.
A breakfront wardrobe made from American yellow pine,
stained slightly to tie in with existing furniture in the room. The drawers were
hand-dovetailed, the doors constructed with mortise and tenon joints, and the panels
fielded. The interior of the wardrobe was divided into long and double hanging, with a
number of adjustable and pull out shelves. Although free-standing, the plinth was scribed
to the floor as it dipped 50mm to the right.
One of a pair, a fitted maple wardrobe squeezed into the
confines of a loft bedroom.
The mirror, small
table and lamp were designed to compliment the wardrobe.
