4th February 2003

Have just updated the gigspage with the forthcoming bookings for 2003. Its beginning to get busy.
Highlights include a support with The Bluehorses at The Talking Heads and a Festival Fringe gig with Arlen at The Railway Inn, Winchester in May.
The new album is underway with the first three tracks having been completed. The remainder of the recording now needs to be fitted in around the gigging schedule. We will keep you updated.
Hope to see you all at a gig sometime.
Cheers For Now. Maryjane.

21st December 2002

Happy Midwinter Festival to one and all from Maryjane.
Several bits of yuletime news for you!
Firstly, the back catalogue is now available. See the Soundspage
We have copies of Hazy Days, Zaney Janey and Gates of Silent Memory on CD. Not in time for Xmas pressies I'm afraid, but if you have some spare spending money, the odd tenner from Auntie perhaps! Well now you know what to spend it on.
Secondly we are beginning to book up some gigs for the new year so check the gigspage for details. Pay special attention to the Wedgewood Rooms gig in Pompey. This is a double header with Legacy and should be a great night.
Finally, don't forget if you want to see Maryjane playing at your favourite festivals in the summer write to the organisers and recommend us. We are doing the same this end and hope to announce some summer festival dates soon.
Have a great holiday time and we hope to see you all at a gig in the new year.

22nd November 2002

Welcome back! The site has been neglected for a couple of months due to essential PC maintainance which has coincided with a quiet spell for MARYJANE. The band have done a couple of gigs including
headlining The Hallowe'en Festival in London. See the gigspage for some reviews. Apart from that they have been rehearsing hard and polishing up the songs they plan to record for the next album. They have even had the time to write one or two new numbers which might just make there way onto tracklist. We'll see!
Time has been booked for initial recording in January and we will keep you informed of progress here at www.maryjane.biz.

All the band are very sorry that they haven't been doing the gigs that they should do and promise to make it up to you as soon as they can.
Particularly, MARYJANE are planning to book up with a number of festivals in the Summer of 2003. If you regularly attend any festivals that you think MARYJANE should play let us know. More importantly let the festival organisers know that you would like to see MARYJANE at their events. Your vote really counts!

Other than this, not too much is planned as the band are busy arranging to go into the studio to begin recording the next album.
More new as it breaks.

Good News! "Tacit" is with us and available direct from Seventh Wave Records now. See Sounds Page. It sounds mighty fine. The digital remastering for transfer onto CD has seen some improvements on the original limited edition vinyl release.
"To The Prettiest One" is expected back from the pressing plant any day now. Paul and Jo spent a successful day in the studio with Producer Ade Lunn earlier this month and were "blown away" with how great the final mix came out. This is most definitely the best Mary Jane have ever sounded. Order it now and be the envy of all your friends.

Look out for a string of Album Launch gigs coming along soon.
The first of which is taking place at our "home" venue of The Talking Heads, Southampton on Thursday 16th May.
