Competition 2000

Email Paul Hayes

Well here we are near the end of a millennium think of all the scientific breakthroughs in just this century! what would somebody living 100 years ago thought if you were to tell them that manmade satellites would one day be orbiting the earth and taking pictures? Imagine telling that to somebody a 1000 years ago!

I think we should all give praise to all those that made it possible and thank the present governments throughout the world for allowing us access to the information.

Thanks to Dave Cawley for starting the competitions and Julian Moss for starting the RIG-L list and of course the RIG (Remote Imaging Group)

And finally a big thanks to UKonline for giving me the web space for these competitions

Merry Christmas and sincere best wishes for the new millennium.

Paul Hayes

I certainly don't envy Dave in having to judge these! I would be proud to have taken any one of them.
