Muhammad (PBUH)
When he was twenty five his marriage took place with a pious and gentle woman, Hazrat Khadija At the age of forty he was blessed with the first revelation of God. He announced his Prophethood .In those days the Arabs were jahil (ignorant), infidel and idolaters. He started conveying the massage of God to them. The idolaters tortured him and his followers in every way. When the atrocities of the Arabs became unbearable he asked the Sahabah (His followers) to migrate to Abyssinia. This was the event of fifth year of Prophethood. In the seventh year the idolaters of Qureysh boycotted him. He with his relatives remained besieged in the valley of Sha,ib-abi Talib for about three years. In the tenth year his Uncle Abu Talib and his wife Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadija passed away. In the same year his Nikah took place with Ummul Momineen Hazrat Aysha. In the twelveth year the incident of Miraj was revealed, and at the time of Miraj, Namaz (Salat \ Prayer) with all its details and regularity, was made compulsory. In the same year people of Madinah cane to Makkah Muazzama and embraced Islam. After it, Islam spread in Madinah Munawrah. When he became fifty three years old, he was directed to migrate from Maccah, and he in the company of Hazrat Abu Baker migrated to Madinah. In the second year of Hijrah the Jihad (fight \ War) started with the idolaters (non believers), and the first encounter of Islam and infidelity, called the Gazwa-e-Badr (battle of Badr) took place. One year after it, another battle was fought with the infidels (non believers), which is called Gazwa-e-Uhad. In the fifth year of Hijrah the Gazwa-e- Khundaq (battle of ditch) was fought. In the sixth year of Hijrah the famous treaty of peace, "Sulah Hudaibiya" was signed with the infidels. (The battles in which the Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) took part are know as Gazwa) Makkah Mukarmah was conquered by the Holy Prophet in the eighth year of Hijrah. He and his sincere followers, victorious and dominant, entered the city from which he was forced to leave in misery. In the ninth year of hijrah, Hajj was made compulsory, and many muslims performed Haj in the leadership of Hazrat Abu Bakar . In tenth hijarah the Holy Prophet went to perform Hajj, and delivered a historical sermon (religious address) to more than one hundred thousand followers. This became the Universal declaration called "Khutba e-Hajjatul Wida" (farewell sermon). In the age of sixty-three he fell ill and departed to meet his Loard on 12th day of Rabi-al-awwal of 11th Hijra. He was burried in the room of Ummal-momineen Hazrat Aysha Sadiqah (RA)
