Qua Iboe Fellowship is an old mission with a young heart full of compassion for the needs of a world suffering from injustice, sickness and pain without the hope of the gospel Jesus gave us to share.
West Africa is our focus of ministry and a new door of opportunity for service has opened in Chad in Central Africa.
We work in Burkina Faso, Nigeria, and Chad. The mission started in 1887 with pioneer church-planting in the south east of Nigeria. This led to the Qua Iboe Church, now an independent church with over 1000 congregations. Since then the work has expanded to include medical care, theological education as well as church planting.
The work in Burkina Faso is in partnership with WEC and concentrates on church planting among a largely unreached peoples group, the Dagari.
Earlier this year, in response to God's leading, we
accepted the challenge to send missionaries to serve in Chad. Of the 180
people groups in the country 120 are classified as unreached ie having no access
to the Gospel.
