Rover - 800 - V6 Group on Yahoo This is a new group started by another Rover 827 owner/enthusiast (Dave Floyd) and myself (Paul Marsh), you can get information on here ranging from the cheapest place to buy parts for an 800 to how to diagnose and fix problems with your 800. All the members of the group are very friendly and helpful people, we all have a laugh as well as helping people out and learning valuable information about the Rover 800. You can join and post questions related to your car, request a part for your car, or just sit back and learn from other peoples requests for help. We are not strict like other groups on the internet dedicated to Rover 800's, we DO allow you to talk off-topic and have a laugh aswell as discussing things related to the Rover 800...afterall sometimes with these cars you need to have a sense of humour ;-) There are a number of people on the group from all over the world that own Rover 800's, for instance one of the members (who is also a moderator and helps us keep the group running smoothly) lives in Phoenix, Arizona, USA and owns a 1989 Rover Sterling (all 827's were badged as Sterling's in the US) She is the first to admit that without our 800-V6 group she would have had to sell her car long ago! but with the help from all the people on the group she is able to fix all problems herself and is now becoming a very competent home mechanic :-) As I said on my homepage there is NO FEE for joining the Rover-800-V6 group, there is only one thing we ask, that is if you apply to join we ask that you use a personal email address.....once a member of the group you can change your email address to anything you like but due to a number of people using fake Yahoo ID's to try to join the group we feel the best way to protect the friendly atmosphere on the group is to request a personal mail address, there are some prats out there who try to join groups with a fake ID and attempt to cause trouble once they are a member of the group, by asking for a personal mail address it limits the possibility of these people joining!!!! No members/moderators or owners of the group make ANY money from the running of this group, it is purely a free group that people can be a part of, it is for owners of Rover 800's to gain/offer help from/to other owners of 800's and gain a lot of knowledge on these cars!
