THE DRUGS PROBLEM IN THE RHONDDADrug abuse has become a major problem in the Rhondda. For this reason we decided to devote some of our web site space to the issue. In particular we decided to try to offer some information to worried parents and to provide some pointers towards further information and advice. We began our research by talking to Inspector Paul Cannon of Ton Pentre Police Station. Insp. Cannon is also one of the founders of Rhonnda Against Illegal Drugs (RAID). Some of the information we provide here is based on what Insp. Cannon told us. We have also used drug information from Taff Ely Drug Support (TEDS) literature to produce the following pages:WHAT CAN YOU DO IF YOU SUSPECT YOUR CHILD IS USING DRUGS?DRUGS AND THE RISK OF TAKING THEM.BACK TO HOMEPAGE. |
