Presented on this Video-CD Is a Granada TV
documentary first aired In 1982, It compiles an
excellent collection of black & white footage from the Beatles early years, the film
begins
with a rare Cavern clip from 1962, where the Beatles perform "Some Other Guy"
from August 22,
next, a studio performance of them miming to "Twist And Shout" on Scene At 6:30
from August
14, 1963. What follows Is the Infamous Ken Dodd Interview, plus The Beatles performing two
songs from their new single "I Want To Hold Your Hand" & "This
Boy" filmed on November 25, 1963.
The Beatles first U.S tour from February 1964, Is also documented, with Interviews and
concert
footage from Washington. On their return back to Britain, we get to see the airport scenes
and
press Interviews from that period. Finally, The Beatles are seen miming to two songs
"We Can
Work It Out" & "Day Tripper", recorded on November 2, 1965. This was
taken from part of a
documentary called "The Music Of Lennon & McCartney" where The Beatles are
seen Introducing
a number of recording artists who had covered their songs.
