CD Notes:
The Beatles moved to the Apple Studios In Savile
Row, London towards the end of January 1969, to finish off
recording tracks for what was to become the "Let It Be" album, released In early
1970.
What Is presented here are outtakes from the filming of the "Let It Be" movie.
All film footage was recorded
on to 16mm film stock, and this particular piece was filmed In black & White. Some of
the soundtrack has been
dubbed with outtakes from the same sessions, as the original Nagra tape rolls have not yet
been syncronised
to the raw film footage.
We get to see the Beatles at work In the studio, jamming, rehearsing and listening to
playbacks In the control
room, together with Billy Preston on piano, and with the ever present Yoko Ono.
Notes:
A re-release of AppleRom's previous CD-ROM video
title "Let It Be - The Apple Sessions".
This VideoCD compiles the same black & white outtake footage In slightly better
quality,
with less compression. Running time - 42 Minutes.
