1989 Was A Milestone In The Release Of Beatles
Underground Recordings, The Swingin'
Pig Label Started This Off With Their Ultra Rare Trax Series In 1988 But Slowly Faded
Into Obscurity After A Handfull Of Releases. The First Discs To Appear From Yellow Dog
Was The Unsurpassed Masters Series Which Had A Wealth Of Unreleased Outtakes And Studio
Rehearsals Within The Seven Volumes. Then Followed A Range Of Other Releases Which Covered
Live Concerts & Let It Be Sessions. In 1996 Yellow Dog Went Into Recievership Where As
A
Japanese Company Took Over With Their First Release Being 'Leaning On A Lampost' And Have
Continued With The Old Company's Tradition Of Releasing New And Exciting Bootleg CD's.
To Date Yellow Dog They Have Put Out No Less Than 77 Bootleg titles. Their Most Recent
Addition Being 'Beatles Broadcast Collection In July Of 2000. Other Labels Ascociated
With Yellow Dog Are, Orange, Strawberry Records & Yellow Cat Which Are All
Subsidary
Labels Of Yellow Dog.
