A little
late, with
one month almost gone,
but the first
opportunity to say
happy new year
to residents.
The start to Riseley's 2002 was more West End then North Beds, with a
thoroughly professional production of the pantomime, Aladdin- a full report and
colour supplement of photographs, courtesy of Riseley drama group appear in this
edition for all to enjoy!
If it is raining in your heart beats the winter blues by
getting all romantic at the
village hall. Valentine's dance on Saturday at the 9th February. Full
details appear in
this edition.
Of
course the
big story of
2002 will be
the Golden Jubilee
of Queen Elizabeth
II. Riseley 2000
Group have planned a spectacular
programme of events
for the national
holiday on Monday
3rd June, including
street parties,
parade of floats
and fancy dress.
So if you
intend to spend
the day right
here in Riseley
there should be
something to suit
everyone! Full
details outlined in this
newsletter. Hoping
not just her
Majesty!- but
all of us
have a great
year to look
forward to in
2002!
