Victory in Battle of the Bands
The Common Moral Cause appeared at the Zodiac in Oxford last Sunday, along with five other bands, as part of the Emregenza festival, the official scouting event for Columbia Records.
CMC won the competition with a commanding performance. The victory sees them through to the semi-finals of the competition, and just one step away from a performance at the renowned London Astoria in front of Columbia's top A&R team.
After the competition Elliot was quoted as saying "It was quite funny because all the bands were rock and we came on and did our thing and went down really well."
