SUMMER CAMP 2004

This year we went to Dartmoor for 5 nights, and camped in a farmer's field at Lustleigh, near Bovey Tracey. We always use a greenfield site, so the scouts have to build all their own amienities. |

On scout camp we
had Dan's Cowboy Dinner. We were given the ingredients and left to cook it
ourselves. Mine turned out well cooked, but was stuck to the foil. This
resulted in me eating it with my teeth off the foil. Tom's...., well Tom's
had just as many nutrients as the foil that covered it. Ollie said that he
found his 'lush'.

On scout camp we
cooked our own food. We had lessons on cooking and then got sent off to
light a fire. Ollie burnt his knife, broke his fork, and his spoon went
floating off down the river. We were greenfield camping. Will set fire to
his trainers, and I fell in a bog.
